application

  • Optosky transceiver module is designed for use in 800 Gigabit Ethernet links over 500m single mode fiber. The module has 4 independent electrical and optical input/output channels operating up to 212.5Gbps per channel. This transceiver is operating on a set of wavelength on the ITU G.694.2 CWDM grid near 1310nm. The transmitter path of the module incorporates a 4:4 PAM4 re-timer ASIC integrated with a 4-channels modulator driver, control and bias for the four MZ modulators. On the receiver path, the optical FA is coupled to 4 photodiodes and a 4-channel TIA array, along with the PAM4 re-timer. The electrical interface of the module is compliant with the 800GAUI-4 interface as defined by IEEE 802.3dj, and compliant with Optosky MSA.
