1. ATP8900plus-D (Diamond ATR):

• Best for: Hard samples, such as minerals or polymers.

• Features: Diamond is extremely durable, making it ideal for hard or abrasive samples. It covers a wide spectral range but is limited in the 2,500–1,600 cm-1 region where it fully absorbs. Despite this limitation, many compounds do not have vibrational absorptions in this range, so diamond remains effective for a broad spectrum of analyses.
