Racing with Light, Multi-Product Launch | Innovation Special Feature – Field Spectrometer Series

Optosky’s field spectrometer series includes the ATP9100W handheld broadband model (300‑1700 nm / 300‑2500 nm) and the ATP9101W ultra‑miniature broadband model (200‑1700 nm, <450 g, Android touchscreen, GPS, camera). 

A field spectrometer is an instrument used to acquire spectral radiance or reflectance of the Earth's surface within specific wavelength ranges. By analyzing these spectral curves, different types of ground features can be identified and distinguished. Measuring the reflection or radiation characteristics of ground objects helps users analyze and identify materials, vegetation, hydrological changes, and more.
 
Focusing on field measurement needs, Optosky has developed a series of lightweight, fast, and high‑precision field spectrometers covering a broad wavelength response from 200 nm to 2500 nm. They meet various application environments from laboratory research to field surveys, providing reliable data support and localized solutions for geology, agriculture, forestry, ecology, and other fields.
 
01  Product 1: ATP9100W Handheld Broadband Field Spectrometer
 


  • Spectral Coverage: The ATP9100W series is a professional handheld broadband field spectrometer offering two versions: 300‑1700 nm and 300‑2500 nm. It features wide spectral response and multiple adjustable field‑of‑view angles, suitable for demanding reflectance and radiance measurements.
  • Integrated Functions: Includes high‑definition touchscreen, interchangeable fiber optic probe, laser pointer, tilt display, and other practical functions. Supports direct imaging of the sampling area – what you see is what you measure – significantly improving accuracy and efficiency.
  • Data Processing: Supports real‑time calculation of vegetation indices such as NDVI. Built‑in GPS and sensor modules enable simultaneous collection of location and environmental information.
  • Applications: Suitable for remote sensing calibration, satellite data validation, agricultural assessment, geological and mineral exploration, as well as scientific research and education.
 
02  Product 2: ATP9101W Ultra‑Miniature Broadband Field Spectrometer
 


  • Broad Spectral Acquisition: A next‑generation field spectrometer combining ultra‑lightweight design, wide spectral coverage, and wireless operation. Wavelength range covers 200‑1700 nm, enabling broadband acquisition from ultraviolet to near‑infrared.
  • Easy Operation: Total weight under 450 g. Built‑in Android system and high‑definition touchscreen. Equipped with WIFI, Bluetooth, and USB interfaces, allowing standalone operation without a computer.
  • Smart Sensing: Built‑in 13‑megapixel camera, laser pointer, GPS, altitude, temperature, humidity, and other sensor modules. Supports precise positioning, angle logging, and environmental compensation for spectral data.
  • Application Environment: Highly efficient for deployment in complex field conditions. Fast measurement and easy operation, widely used in agricultural remote sensing, forest research, water quality monitoring, and more.
